1. Digital Service Nature
I•marcusnote provides digital educational services, including AI-powered worksheet generation, content creation tools, and downloadable outputs. Because the service provides instant access to digital content and proprietary educational logic, billing and refund decisions are handled under a digital content policy.
2. Subscription Billing
Paid plans are billed according to the pricing cycle shown at checkout. By purchasing a paid plan, the user agrees to recurring billing unless the subscription is cancelled before the next renewal date.
- Billing is processed in advance for each subscription period.
- Plan access begins immediately after successful payment confirmation.
- Premium features and paid AI engines remain available during the active billing period.
3. Cancellation Policy
Users may cancel their subscription at any time.
- Cancellation stops future renewals.
- The cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing cycle.
- The user may continue to use the paid service until the end of the already-paid period.
In other words, cancelling a subscription does not normally remove access immediately, and it does not automatically issue a refund for the current billing period.
4. Refund Policy
Due to the nature of digital educational content, refunds are generally not available once the service has been used, AI content has been generated, or downloadable materials have been accessed.
This policy exists because digital outputs and educational assets may be consumed immediately after purchase.
5. Refund Eligibility Exceptions
Refund requests may be reviewed on a limited basis in the following situations:
- Duplicate or accidental duplicate payment
- No actual service usage after purchase
- No AI generation, download, or meaningful access to paid content
- A verified technical issue that prevented normal service use
Refund approval is determined after internal review. Transaction fees, payment processing fees, or non-recoverable platform charges may be deducted where applicable.
6. Immediate Cancellation and Refund Requests
Some users may want both immediate cancellation and a refund. These are treated separately.
- Cancellation means future billing is stopped.
- Refund means a charge reversal is requested and reviewed.
An immediate refund is not automatically granted simply because a subscription has been cancelled. If a user wants immediate cancellation with a refund request, the case must be reviewed based on actual usage history and service access status.
7. Non-Refundable Cases
Refunds will generally not be provided in the following cases:
- The user has already used the AI workspace or paid engines
- The user has generated worksheets, outputs, or downloadable files
- The request is made after meaningful use of the digital service
- The reason is simple change of mind after service access
